Refund and Cancellation Policy
1. Try it for free instead of returning it
Boothy can be tested free of charge and without a time limit before any purchase. The trial version covers the functionality of the full version so you can verify beforehand that the software runs on your hardware and meets your requirements. We strongly encourage you to use it — it is the reason we are able to operate without refunds.
2. No refunds once the licence has been issued
Purchased licences are non-refundable. Your licence key — and with it full access to the software — is issued immediately on purchase. Digital content cannot be returned, and the full feature set can be evaluated free of charge in advance.
This applies in particular to:
If you bought twice by accident or picked the wrong plan, contact us anyway — we will sort that out.
3. Right of withdrawal for consumers
Consumers are generally entitled to a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. For digital content not supplied on a physical medium, this right expires early once performance of the contract has begun and you have previously
This consent is obtained during checkout. Because the licence key is issued immediately after purchase, the right of withdrawal therefore normally expires when the purchase completes.
As long as the licence has not yet been issued, you may declare your withdrawal informally by email.
4. Cancelling a subscription
Monthly and annual plans
Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period. There is no minimum term and no notice period.
After cancelling
How to cancel
Lifetime licence
The lifetime licence is a one-off payment with no recurring billing. There is nothing to cancel and the licence does not expire.
5. Statutory warranty rights are unaffected
This policy does not limit your statutory warranty rights. If the software has a defect that cannot be remedied within a reasonable time, your statutory rights to a price reduction or to rescind the contract remain intact. Please report any defect to support first — the vast majority of problems are resolved quickly.
6. Payment processing
Purchases are handled by an external payment provider acting as the seller and contracting party (merchant of record), which also issues the invoice. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
7. Contact
We usually answer questions about an order, a cancellation or a technical problem within one business day. Full provider details are available in the imprint.
